OpenStudy (anonymous):

So, Delegted powers- the transfer of authority by one person or group to another person or group.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok, now do you have an experience?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

like it says in the question @Jamal5337?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yes,

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Take congress for an example,

OpenStudy (anonymous):

can you tell me one of them?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

For the record, it says use examples from the lesson, so this could be a little tricky,

OpenStudy (anonymous):

well its all right... the lesson mentions about congress

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@Jamal5337 it would be fine if you use congress

OpenStudy (anonymous):

better yet, let's look at the constitution, that would be much easier.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok fine

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Our governmenet is comprised of 3 branches.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

government*

OpenStudy (anonymous):

One article of the constiution is centered directly around these branches

OpenStudy (anonymous):

it explains the powers of each branch of government, and exactly what they can do.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so then can you tell me in one message pls?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Alright,

OpenStudy (anonymous):

An example of delegated powers can be seen in the US Constitution. Articles 1-3 is centered around the 3 branches of government, the Legislative, Judicial, and Executive branch. These articles explains in black and white exactly what each branch is in charge of and what they can do. By doing this, the Constitution delegates certain powers and authority between these 3 branches, giving the legislative branch the most power. This is proven because of the fact that congress can override a president's Veto. The POTUS is in the executive branch of government, and congress can over ride a veto with a 2/3 majority vote.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thanks soooooooooooooooooooo much!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! medal and fan included!!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OpenStudy (anonymous):

No problem.

OpenStudy (anonymous):
