it is 5 right because 5*3 is 15 and 5*4 is 20 so 5 is the biggest integer, 5 is less than 6.7 so 6.7 is the greater integer.
OpenStudy (anonymous):
UM okay what is the answer 5 1/3 or 6.7 because I asked which was greater and I'm not seeing the answer.
OpenStudy (anonymous):
6.7 is greater because 5 1/5 is only 5.3 :)
Hope this helped!

Do you see how I got the decimal 5.3 tho?
OpenStudy (anonymous):
Oops, I meant 5 1/3 not 5 1/5 lol

OpenStudy (anonymous):
Anyway, I didn't see how you got the decimal
OpenStudy (anonymous):
Okay, so, you have a mixed number (5 1/3)
Do you know how to change this into an improper fraction?

yup and the answer for that is 16/3
OpenStudy (anonymous):
Okay, then to get the decimal, you just divide 16 by 3 to get 5.3 |dw:1418265565703:dw|
So, that's why it is less than 6.7
Do you understand? o.e
