I don't understand this question and I need help understanding how to solve it. Verify that parallelogram ABCD with vertices A(-5,-1), B(-9,6), C(-1,5), and D(3,-2) is a rhombus by showing that it is a parallelogram with perpendicular diagonals.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

draw it and find the slope of the lines and show that the ones that are side by side have equal slopes meaning they are parallel

OpenStudy (anonymous):

connect the diagonals and find their slopes they should be the negative recipricals

OpenStudy (anonymous):

How can I find the slope of the lines after i've drawn the shape? I'm a little behind

OpenStudy (anonymous):

y2-y2 over x2-x1

OpenStudy (anonymous):

its a formula for slope take the coordinates you have and plug it into the equation
