Which of the following questions would NOT help you determine who your audience is? A. What are their ages? B. What are their genders? C. When will I publish my writing? D. Where do they live?
@cupcakerain
d because where they live clearly has nothing to do with who or what type of audience you have
I say c. If someone is from a certain part of the world, and you write a book about something they have no idea about, they probably won't buy your book. It does determine who your audience is. When you publish your writing has nothing to do with the readers. Age and gender are obvious though, little kids won't read about the civil war, they read about kid things and boys probably won't want to read about fairies and unicorns.
Forgot to put an example for the first part. If you write a book about Australian traditions, someone in Mexico probably won't buy it because it doesn't have anything to do with them
