Which system of equations can be used to solve the following problem? Each child ticket for a ride costs $3, while each adult ticket costs $5. If the ride collected a total of $150, and 40 tickets were sold, how many of each type of ticket were sold? Let c be the number of child tickets and a be the number of adult tickets.
@fallenangelorchid @AlexandervonHumboldt2 @AMYCARTER @sleepyjess @Alchemista @lakeykey @XainSG @annipuppi
if each child's ticket is $3 and there are 4 child tickets sold, then the total is 3×4 if each child ticket is $3 and there are "c" child tickets sold, the total is 3c for the childs tickets
similarly 5a for the adult tickets, for a total of 3c+5a which you know is $115
im thinking its going to be the 3rd one. 3c + 5a
ok yea that makes sense
their asking the equation not the answer.
Exactly, which is 3c+5a which i just posted.
what fallenagelorchid said
its either a b or c now cause theres two equations @fallenangelorchid u only answered the first part
so the 3rd is correct. right?
are you asking me?
no im asking you if you understand.
yes I do
ok. have a question. is it ok if i ask?
Determine two pairs of polar coordinates for the point (4, -4) with 0° ≤ θ < 360°.
0<angle<360
?
determine two pairs of polar coordinates for the point (4,-4) with 0<theta<360. if you know anyone who can help, i would appreciate it.
