A fruit vendor has 28 pears and 16 oranges. What is the ratio of oranges to pears in simplest form?

16 to 28, when you put them in order To simplify, divide by their common factor of 4
Well, how many pears and how many oranges are there? Put that with a colon, or fraction bar, and you have your ratio. Then, simplify it until you can't simplify it anymore.
it could be 16/28, depending the question.
16:28 is the ratio But you have to get that in the simplest form so it would be 4:7
