I Need Help. Q. 24 children will attend the birthday party. If each child gets 3 party flavors and there are 12 flavors in each box,how many boxes should Raymond buy?

OpenStudy (uri):

24 kids each gets 3. 24*3=72 total each box =12 72/12 =6 boxes?

OpenStudy (uri):

@perl am i right? not sure

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes u are. Thank You @uri

OpenStudy (emmamink):

OK, so there are 24 children and each gets 3 favors, then to find out how much we need altogether we multiply 24 and 3 to get 72.

OpenStudy (emmamink):

Now, if we need 72 favors and there are twelve favors in each box, we can just do \[72\div12\]
