OpenStudy (kenljw):

I think premarital sex can be referenced to the 10th commandment "Thou shall not Covet thy neighbor's ...". Today parents are responsible for children's , minors, debts and damages they cause. This parental responsibility can be extended in a number of way's as sexual morality, school teaches sexual mechanism, stealing and injuries to others. Though this legal method children are the property of their parents, Biblically when a child was to "rebellious" they were actually killed, in my era they were placed into a reform school, today they try to catch this early and place a child under some sort of counseling. Its the lack of parental guidance that has caused 10 % of college females to be raped, either intoxicated or drugged, during their time at college. This does not mention those prior to this age group that have undergone such things. I know a woman, in her 40's, that was raped at 15 and then threaten if she said anything. This had a profoundly negative affect on her life which she still is trying to overcome. One last things, in Biblical times marriage were arranged at about 13 years of age, toward the end of puberty, which actually allowed for sex relations within marriage with no need for premarital sex. My position on the matter is ask your parents about their experiences and advice, hopefully they've gain some wisdom in their life.
