OpenStudy (kendricklamar2014):

@chosenmatt

OpenStudy (chosenmatt):

what do you think it is?

OpenStudy (kendricklamar2014):

Im not sure, im stuck :(

OpenStudy (chosenmatt):

i think 5 but im not 100% sure

OpenStudy (kendricklamar2014):

How did u get that??

OpenStudy (kendricklamar2014):

Can you help me @aum

OpenStudy (aum):

We need two points on the line. The first point is the y-intercept: (0, 2). A second point is: (5, 3). Slope = \(\large \frac{y_2-y_1}{x_2-x_1} = \frac{3-2}{5-0} = \frac 15\)

OpenStudy (kendricklamar2014):

Can it be any point or just those two @aum

OpenStudy (aum):

It can be any two points on the line. But to be able to easily read the x and y values on the graph it would be better to choose two points that will give whole numbers (integers) for the x and y values.

OpenStudy (kendricklamar2014):

Oh ok, now I understand. Thanks

OpenStudy (aum):

You are welcome.
