What does 0 slope mean and undefined slope mean

OpenStudy (aripotta):

Nnesha (nnesha):

0 slope mean when you have equation like this y = b where you only have y-intercept and graph look like this |dw:1418334421013:dw|

Nnesha (nnesha):

vetical when undefined

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Ok thanks now what does y=0 or x=0

OpenStudy (solomonzelman):

lets start slowly. A slope is the number of units that y goes up, as x goes 1 unit to the right. When the line is horizontal this number is 0, and when it is vertical, the word "slope" is irrelevant, inapplicable.

Nnesha (nnesha):

when you have zero|dw:1418334504682:dw| horizontal
