So I need help on a radicals question please!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

\[\sqrt{243}=\sqrt{3\times3\times3\times3\times3}\] How do I simplify this?

OpenStudy (solomonzelman):

I don't really understand what type of question this is... I think what they want you to: 1) square both sides (raise both sides to the second power). 2) you should know that \(\large\color{black}{ 3^5=243}\)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Oh Okay so how can you write that in the square root form?

OpenStudy (solomonzelman):

wait, you want the answer as a square root?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Nevermind Thanks!

OpenStudy (solomonzelman):

You sure yu got it?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yepp

OpenStudy (solomonzelman):
