Should people have to pay extra tax for soda's and junk food?


PLEASEE help! I just need to "review" you. It is for an English Writing class. Please!!

it doesn't make a difference on what to pay tax. with one very big BUT, that the taxes on various jibs (esp in the southern states) have rapidly grown. And all this, is to sustain the handouts-program financially.

this, and mainly the Obama care, that is a killer of US economy, but let's not go into politics....
I can see why you are proposing to cancel the tax on these product; being that they are unhealthy, but I would just try to limit the access to soda and junk food, or make a law that these foods must have a warning lable or something. Or both, the warning label, and minimum access.

I'd say that the regular tax is fine. People shouldn't be forced to pay extra for junk food, if they want to eat it it's their choice, but no need to impose an extra tax..

No way. Sorry as a fan of that stuff. I eat/drink it like everyday. I find it stupid to pay a tax on food and drinks. Food and drinks are already expensive as it is. Why do we need to pay so much for a necessity? Even if soda and junk food aren't the best options for you. Why charge more for it?
