Which statement is not true? will give medal please answer A. Every parallelogram is a rectangle. B. Every square is a rhombus. C. Every square is a parallelogram. D. Every rhombus is a parallelogram.

OpenStudy (girlover):

I would choose D bc the parallelogram sides are equal but angles are not and a square needs both same sides and angles.

OpenStudy (girlover):

also there is a math section in which this question will be better placed there than here.

Directrix (directrix):

A. Every parallelogram is a rectangle. is not true and is the correct answer. By definition, a parallelogram is a quadrilateral with both pairs of opposite sides parallel. A rectangle also has both pairs of opposite sides parallel and is a parallelogram. But a rectangle has other requirements in it definition (such as right angles.) Parallelograms are not required to have interior right angles. Option D is true. Every rhombus is a parallelogram. @@needhelpplease112233
