Installed python today- I'd prefer to use an IDE, any suggestions?
The python IDLE doesn't work- it has an error like this: ``` IDLE can't bind to a TCP/IP port, which is necessary to communicate with its Python execution server. This might be because no networking is installed on this computer. Run IDLE with the -n command line switch to start without a subprocess and refer to Help/IDLE Help 'Running without a subprocess' for further details. ``` And after installing eclipse for python according to this tutorial: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vHRRiBHI3to when I go to install software in eclipse, an 'Unable to read repository' message occurs. What IDE's do you guys use?
Hey Woodrow, I am using just plain inkscape. I think its best for you to use a few different tutorials until you find one that works the best and it compatible with your computer settings. This is what I did last year for school.
Here is what I made with inkscape last year
cool designs! Thanks for the suggestion- I'll be sure to try inkscape out.
I have used pyscripter in the past, but I would use eclipse for any significantly large project.
Thanks
