Find the least common denominator (LCD) for the fractions. A. 2 B. 10 C. 30 D. 60

OpenStudy (anonymous):

1 3 - and - 6 10

OpenStudy (sleepyjess):

What is the lowest number that 6 and 10 go into evenly?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Well now that I saw the answers and the question I got it, I think I think its 30. 6 x 5 = 30, as 6 x 6 = 36. So yeah, the LCD is 30

OpenStudy (sleepyjess):

@BillGatessDanceMoves Please do not give out direct answers.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I see people do it all the time when I look for my own answers for tests via google, so... lel

OpenStudy (sleepyjess):

Well, giving direct answers is against the Code of Conduct here.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I see it happen on nearly all the posts that are made that I click on... so... lol?

OpenStudy (sleepyjess):

How are you learning anything if you just know the answer and not how to get to the answer?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Sometimes you know how to do the problem but you're doing it just wrong enough to not get the right answer. I did give a direct answer, but the answer I gave is what you would get since I spelled it out. 3 x 6 = 30, 10 goes into 30 as well. Guy just needs his times tables, and how are we supposed to help him learn that? lol
