y=4csc2(x-pi/2)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

do you have a calculator at hand?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

and what is the question?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

just a sec

OpenStudy (anonymous):

do you know to what value equals csc2(x-pi/2)

OpenStudy (briensmarandache):

are u graphing this?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

cscx=1/sinx---------->csc2x=1/sin2x

OpenStudy (anonymous):

sin2x=2sinx*cosx

OpenStudy (anonymous):

oh you wanted to solve for x

OpenStudy (anonymous):

\[\csc2(x-\pi/2)=1/(\sin2(x-\pi/2)\]

OpenStudy (briensmarandache):

you can look at it using introspection and see that it is phase shifted -pi/2, so pi/2 to the right, so at y=0; x=pi/2
