y = -4/5 x + 3 4x - 5y = -15 parallel, perpendicular, or neither?

Nnesha (nnesha):

can you solve second equation for y ??

OpenStudy (anonymous):

are they parallel?

Nnesha (nnesha):

you have to sole second equation for y so then you can look at your slope for 2nd equation and also you can graph both equation

Nnesha (nnesha):

after solving 2nd equation for y if you get same slope like first equation slope then its parallel and if its flip of first equation and opposite sign then that is perpendiculat

Nnesha (nnesha):

did you get answer ??
