What are the domain and range of the relation {(-4, 2), (0, 1), (0, 5), (8, 10)}? A. Domain: {2, 1, 5, 10}; Range: {4, 0, 8} b.Domain: {-4, 0, 5, 10}; Range: {2, 1, 8} c. Domain: {-4, 0, 8}; Range: {2, 1, 5, 10} d.Domain: {-4, 2, 0, 1, 5, 8, 10}; Range: {-4, 2, 0, 1, 5, 8, 10}

OpenStudy (mathmate):

From each of the ordered pairs, pick out the first number and put it in a set. This is the domain. Do the same for the second number, this will give the range. Example: (2,5),(4,6),(3,7),(5,5) Domain:{2,3,4,5} Range:{5,6,7} 5 appears only once because elements are not repeated in a set.
