Take the two points (21, 1011) and (39, 1191) and find the equation of the line determined by those two points. I used the online calculator to find the equation of the line from the two points. Go here to do that: http://www.webmath.com/equline1.html The equation is y = 10x + 801 where x is the number of games played in a given year and y is the cost for the year for the number of games played that year. If the golfer played zero games, then the cost would be y = 10*0 + 801= $801. Therefore, $801 is the cost of the pass. @kewlkatcutie Check this and determine if you agree.
