How would you rearrange the equation xf=xi+vt to solve for t?

Well, to do this it requires some algebra. What you do to one side you must also do the other, so you have your kinematic equation \[x_f=x_i+vt\] here you want the variable t by itself, so lets start off by subtracting \[x_i\] on both sides, what do you get? After this process you should be left with just "vt" you see it's sort of stuck together, it's being multiplied. Now the opposite operation of multiplying is what...?
