It looks great - just a bit of advice: change "isle" to island and instead of "to Australia" reword it to "of Australia".

for the sentence: Eventually the original purpose of the island didnt last long ~ It would be correct with a comma and an apostrophe like this: Eventually, the original purpose of the island didn't last long.

and this sentence: At that time Norfolk and Australia made an agreement ~ should be: At that time, Norfolk and Australia made an agreement.

And the last sentence would sound better if it was reworded: instead of saying "haven't" - the word "hadn't" would be correct in the context.
