What is the solution to the system of equations? x=4y+6 x-3y=4 ( , ) please help (:

pooja195 (pooja195):

First lets find the X=Y intercept so you should sub the X for 0 this is the secound one what do u think Y=?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

umm... im not sure because i have trouble with these kind of equations @pooja195

pooja195 (pooja195):

ok so you know that there is an X and Y intercept right

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yea @pooja195

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Do you have anwser choices?

pooja195 (pooja195):

ok so to fint the value of each you substitute a 0 for each of them so if your finding the X value your going to substitue a 0 for the Y value

OpenStudy (anonymous):

no @Wxflz

pooja195 (pooja195):

and then when your trying to find the Y value your going to sub the X as 0

pooja195 (pooja195):

are you getting what i'm saying?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Well its fairly simple x = 4 and y = -20 But I suggest you using elimination or substitution method. They are both very easy to find the answer.

pooja195 (pooja195):

@Wxlfz please don't give answers she has trouble with these problems it means she needs to be taught correctly

pooja195 (pooja195):

also it is against openstudy rules to give answers

pooja195 (pooja195):

@arianamarie are you getting this

OpenStudy (anonymous):

im getting it @pooja195
