I have a social experiment: do you think guns should be banned and why?

like for starters i will say that i DONT think that guns should be banned, because a year after guns were banned in Germany, Hitler took over

Guns should not be banned. Guns provide protection against others with demented intentions.

Now, that doesn't mean that we should not use guns responsibly, we definitely should. One wrong move with the pull of a trigger can change someone's life, most likely for the worse.

I think there should be some kind of restriction as gun control would help with shootings and violence all over the world.

If we are able to keep track of it more, maybe it'll help, but still, so much harm comes from guns, so if I were to have a say, I'd say to ban them, but seeing as how banning them completely is not as reasonable in the modern age, I'd say to have better control on who has it, who owns it, who uses it, etc... just kept track of. nothing good truly comes from gun use, so really, I'd say to ban it. hope that helps somewhat!! :)

and from what @kyanthedoodle said, I suppose guns provide protection against others, and it does. but a lot of times, guns are used against people who also have guns, so it's like a cycle. and I guess knives and other dangerous weapons exist, but whether guns help or not is a seriously controversial topic!!
