At the break-even point, what are the revenues? (Read the nearest grid line on the y-axis.)

jimthompson5910 (jim_thompson5910):

Find out where the lines cross (revenue and cost). Then read over to the y axis. Follow the straight horizontal line.

So they cross at $157,483 then what do i do with that?

jimthompson5910 (jim_thompson5910):

that's the revenue (and also the cost). The two are equal here giving you a profit of 0 when you subtract (Revenue - Cost)

jimthompson5910 (jim_thompson5910):

Break even point is when profit = 0 or when revenue = cost

Oh okay sorry it came with a formula so i was confused on what to do with it! Thank you for the help

jimthompson5910 (jim_thompson5910):

You could use the formula, but the graph is much easier (in my opinion).
