I guess the word has gotten out and OS is growing and growing every day! What are some things you can think of that will help OpenStudy grow? Social media? Mouth to mouth? Have you told your friends or invited anyone?

Give us some neat ideas!

I think OpenStudy has great potential to grow. Most of the students use social Networking websites which have grown immensely. OpenStudy has an advantage of being an educational plus Networking website.

I personally feel that it's potential is not much known due to lack of advertisement in asian countries. Social media advertisement is must but I think mouth to mouth promotion is also required.

Cool :), yes social media, such as twitter and facebook, but on twitter they need to quit tweeting the same things over and over again. If you go on the twitter feed you can see they keep "recycling" the same few tweets every week.

That's easy, there's always so much going on OS on a daily basis, you can easily have 100s of diverse tweets a day especially if you're taking photos of users helping. Because if you've noticed the images on OS twitter, usually every week/ month they do have new tweets but these same tweets are constantly being tweeted again, it seems pretty lazy, like who ever is controlling it is just copying and pasting.
If you plan on tweeting using OS twitter page, make sure it's something new, as I mentioned there's a lot of activity going on OS daily.

And I hope for it to continue spreading in the years to come!
OS will last till eternity – I betcha! ;)

I doubt if this will ever happen, but what about making a TV ad dedicated to OS? It will surely attract more students. And of course there will be pros and cons attached.

@Miracrown - what startup projects do you suggest to get these funds to make ads? How will we generate the revenue?

Hmmm, I am not really sure as it was just an idea. If they consider it, then maybe something might spark up. Anyhow, I will need to sleep on it.

And regarding the revenue, we can get people to donate money, even if it's just a $1
