simplify. (4xy^2-7y^2+2x) - ( 5x^2y+x-6xy^2)
Okay,so first step is before you remove the parenthesis of the other part you, change the signs like, negative + positive =negative negative+negative=positive
(4xy^2-7y^2+2x) - ( 5x^2y+x-6xy^2) 4xy^2-7y^2+2x - 5x^2y-x+6xy^2
don't I combine the like terms next?
Now the second part is,get all xy^2 together and y^2 together and x's together/
Yeah, that. Can you arrange and show?
4xy^2+6xy^2-7y^2+2x-5x^2y
Now add the values with xy^2 together.
10xy^2+6xy^2-7y^2+2x-5x^2y
oops forget the 6xy^2
and you forgot x 2x-x
I was copying the eqution back and forgot to skip that part when re-typing
ugh sorry I just have so much to get done i'm kinda rushing =p
It would be like, 4xy^2-7y^2+2x - 5x^2y-x+6xy^2 4xy^2+6xy^2+2x-x-7y^2-5x^2y 10xy^2+x-7y^2-5x^y.
so, basically what I said in the beginning
I know I had to show working..
@ryanvarghese12790 But you're not allowed to give direct answers. You need to guide the student. It' their job.
okay.. I am sorry @uri @Cassandra_Lea_96
