In one type of dog, black spots (B) are dominant over brown spots (b) and long tails (L) are dominant over short tails (l). Complete a dihybrid cross for parents with the genotypes: BbLL × BBLl and answer the following in complete sentences. Describe how you would set up a Punnett square for this cross. List the likelihood of each possible offspring genotype. List the likelihood of each possible offspring phenotype.
I really need help on this one I don't understand how to list the possible genotypes and phenotypes
Do you know how to draw punnet squares?

Okay great....Now, each coloured box have different kind of genotype. All the red box have one type of genotype and similarly all the other color boxes. So do one thing, list all the four types of genotypes first.
Which four?
Each one in the colored boxes, like in all the red one it is BBLL. Write the rest..
I'll be able to help you if u respond faster...
BBLL,bBLL,BBLl,bbLI
I'm just having a hard time puting this in sentance form.
okay, now all these are different kinds of possible genotypes. Now we have to interpret the phenotypes for each of them. Since B (black spots) are dominant over b (brown spots) and Long tails (L) is dominant over l (short tails) BBLL will be black spots and long tails bbLl will be brown spots and long tails
Similarly can you find the phenotype for rest of the two genotypes?
I can try
bBLL would be black spots and long tails
\(\huge \checkmark\)
BBLl would also be black spots and long tails?
\(\huge \checkmark\)
Everything's clear?
I still dont understand how to answer in sentance form?
