Solve the system of linear equations below. 6x + 3y = 33 4x + y = 15

Nnesha (nnesha):

you can do elimination substitution graphing or matrices which one is easy for you ??

OpenStudy (michele_laino):

@qaamr please add -4x to both sides of the second equation

Nnesha (nnesha):

if you want to elimination multiply second equation by -3 if you graph that 2 equation it should be very easy

OpenStudy (uri):

We have to find x and y.Let's find x first? for that you need to make either x or y equal. Right now,we are going to make y equal so it gets canceled out. 6x + 3y = 33 4x + y = 15 (multiply by 3) Can you? @qaamr

Nnesha (nnesha):

multiply by -3** so bec one should be positive and one negative and please try to reply back so we can help better
