Solve the system of linear equations below. x + y = 4 2x + 3y = 0

Nnesha (nnesha):

which method is easy for you ?? elimination graphing substitution matrices ???

OpenStudy (anonymous):

elimination please

Nnesha (nnesha):

okay so for elimination you have to multiply first equation ither by -2 or -3

Nnesha (nnesha):

so multiply first equation by -2|dw:1418591234270:dw| let me know what you get

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i got -2x+-2y=-4

Nnesha (nnesha):

yu have to multiply by 4 too so -2 times 4 equal - 8right

OpenStudy (anonymous):

right

Nnesha (nnesha):

|dw:1418591372383:dw| now you have positive 2x and negative 2x cancel out that and then combine like terms
