Find the x- and y-intercept of the line. 2x + 3y = –18

OpenStudy (kobeni-chan):

You can find the intercepts by setting the value you aren't looking for, to 0. To find the x-intercept, make y=0 This will give you 2x + 3(0) = -18, which is 2x = -18. Then, divide each side by 2 to get x by itself.
