OpenStudy (anonymous):

alright so h is the height which depends on everything else making it our y

OpenStudy (anonymous):

1.5 per week is the growth rate, for weeks x which is unknown.so it's 1.5x

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I got the equation h= 1.5x + 7 but I'm not sure what the y-intercept represents.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

well in the form y = mx + b b is the intercept

OpenStudy (anonymous):

where did you get that 7 that will be the answer.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

in this case it's the initial height.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

The 7 is the flowers height
