After a concert for 1,200 people, only 9 people said they would not go to see the band again. What percent of the people who went to the concert said they would not go to see the band again?
you can just do 9/1200 and convert the decimal to a percent, or you can set up a proportion, and whatever's over 100 is your percent\[\frac{ 9 }{ 1200 }=\frac{ x }{ 100 }\]
well, i mean if you do the proportion, you would of course have to cross-multiply and solve for x
thank u
