because...

modernists believe in well, the modern things. they want change, so this definition does not quite fit.

naturalist celebrates all things in its natural glory, so perhaps it would be wild and untamed, but I feel that it would not be imaginative since they tell it like it is

and a realist really is all about what is, well, real. realistic portrayals and such, so imaginative is a no no for this...
