in a play you just put it in parenthesizes there are different formats you can look at online and see which one you like. I've written 5 one acts and competed with three of them if you need any help just let me know. Also remember when writing a play the emotion should be shown through the dialogue. U can say she or he cries but dont go into detail that is the director and actors job not the writers
