D is the correct answer
Hardly any. Both sects are united in faith on all fundamental issues like Omnipotence of Allah, last prophethood of the Holy Prophet (PBUH), Holy Quran being the final revelation after other divine books like Bible, and the day of ressurection etc. Besides both sects pray five prayers of Fajr (2 raka't), Zohar (4 raka'ts), Asr (4 raka'ts), Maghrib (3 raka'ts) and Isha (4 raka'ts). Minor differences arise from different schools of thought from among ulema (religious scholars). Not only these differences should be tolerated, they are encouraged for better understanding and improvement of knowledge. However one political issue is that of caliphate after the Holy Prophet (PBUH). pelletes beleive that the matter was resolved by the Prophet (PBUH) before leaving this world on a number of occasions like ghadeer. While Sunnis say that the caliphate was undecided and was rightly chosen by a committee of the elders. Though this issue in no way affects one's faith being a Muslim. Many Muslims beleive that the minor differences are exagerated by internal and external factors to satisfy their selfish motives.

What was the ultimate impact of the exploits or feats of Belisarius for the Byzantine Empire? Re-institution of Rome as the empire's capital Weakening of the army from being spread out Re-conquering of the old western Roman provinces Long-term dominance of the Byzantine Empire
I thinks is "D" Underfunded, always outnumbered and with a largely unorganized band of mercenaries (Belisarius had few Cataphracts), and on top of it all charged with defending an empire attacked in four directions, Belisarius was charged not only with fighting a four front war, but Justinian told him, he had to recapture the lands of the western Roman Empire. You ever heard the military axiom "never fight a two front war?" Belisarius fought a 4 front one, in his time, the Byzantine empire was nearing death. To the north, were the Slavs and the Ostrogoths, the hostile, more warlike Slavs, to the south the Egyptians were rebelling and mounting assaults of their own against Anatolia, to the east were the Persians, and to the west, were the Visigoths and various Germanic tribes including the Vandals. Belisarius defeated all of them; a feat of tactical genius, that has yet to be matched. Belisarius is important, although he is given little credit in western history texts, because the Byzantine empire formed a barrier between the empires of the middle east, and Europe. In fact it was not the first time in history, Greece acted as Europe's shield; any army wanting Europe, had to go through Greece first, this was also true in Belisarius' time.
i thnk id say D too How did Western Europe maintain cultural unity after the fall of the Western Roman Empire? Confederations of Germanic tribes maintained the organization and structure of the empire. The Christian Church gave the various people and tribes in Western Europe a cultural center. Attacks from Muslim nations helped band the various groups together with a common bond. The early kingdoms of Western Europe gave the populace a sense of a European community.
