The general process in which molecules move from an area of higher concentration to an area of lower concentration is called ____________. A. osmosis B. diffusion C. active transport D. endoplasmic reticulum
MEDAL REWARD
So the reason they go from high to low is due to something called brownian motion. The particles/molecules are moving around and they keep colliding with eachother. that makes them spread out/diffuse until the get to a point that they are the furthest away from each other(Think of a fart!!). The key thing to note is that the distribution of the substance is trying to become equal!
If you want to do this based on process of elimination then you can cross out D because that is an organelle as well as C because what we're looking at is passive transport.
