OpenStudy (rainbow_dashie):

Which of these would help maintain homeostasis during exercise? A. developing goose bumps on the skin B. decreasing the heart rate C. increasing the amount of water excreted from the kidneys D. speeding up the rate of breathing

@Secret-Ninja

OpenStudy (anonymous):

when we work out, our hearts beat faster that is maintaining homeostasis or balance.

OpenStudy (secret-ninja):

When you are exercising, you are usually hot and sweaty from the work outs. You only get goosebumps when you are cold, so its not A. Also, when you work out, your heart tends to beat faster, not slower, so not B. Usually you don't pee yourself when working out, so not C. (but if you do I suggest you contact a doctor). But you DO breathe harder when you work out so it is d. :)

OpenStudy (rainbow_dashie):

thanks

OpenStudy (secret-ninja):

No problem. :)
