Nnesha (nnesha):

in order to cancel out x you have to have one positive 2x and other should be -2x

Nnesha (nnesha):

doest it make sense @charmancler

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@Nnesha thank you so it would be D?

Nnesha (nnesha):

nope @charmancler

Nnesha (nnesha):

if you multiply second equation by -2 then you still don't have same coefficient for first e equation

Nnesha (nnesha):

both x should have same coefficient but opposite sign try one more time please @charmancler
