45 percent =.45 So 45 percent of the party were visitors. what percentage was NOT visitors??? 1-.45=.55 so .55 or 55% were not visitors so 55% of the whole party were not visitors and that equaled out to be 495 people who attended the party were not visitors Let x represent teh amount of people at the party .55x=495 Solve for x
