Quick question. Medal to best answer. I really appreciate your help! The diameter of a regulation basketball is 9.39 inches. If 1 inch equals 2.54 cm find the diameter of a basketball in kilometers. 3.70 x 10^-5 km 2.39 x 10^-4 km 2.71 x 10^-6 km 2.39 x 10^0 km

OpenStudy (isaiah.feynman):

You should find the relationship between centimeters and kilometers.

OpenStudy (isaiah.feynman):

If 1 inch is 2.54 cm, then what is 9.39 inches in cm? When you figure it out, you recall that 1 km = 100 000 cm, then use it to figure out the ball's diameter in kilometers.

OpenStudy (beccab003):

Okay, so the first part = 3.696850394

OpenStudy (isaiah.feynman):

I don't think so. |dw:1418674742720:dw|
