How do you find the circumference of a circle with area

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Given an area \(A\), you can determine the radius \(r\): \[A=\pi r^2~~\implies~~r=\sqrt{\frac{A}{\pi}}\] The circumference is then \[C=2\pi r=2\pi\sqrt{\frac{A}{\pi}}=2\sqrt{\pi A}\]
