Sam measured the height of a window frame as 5.23 feet, but the actual height was 6 feet. What is the percentage of error in Sam's measurement? 6.79% 7.79% 11.23% 12.83%

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@Michele_Laino pls help me!!!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@Michele_Laino @confluxepic @sleepyjess

OpenStudy (anonymous):

medal and fan are included!!!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@One098 @gIittergoddess @Catlover5925 @brucebaner

OpenStudy (brucebaner):

6- 5.23 0.77 ------- = ------ = 12.83% 6 6

OpenStudy (michele_laino):

please you have to perform this calculus: \[\frac{ 6-5.23 }{ 5.23 }*100\]

OpenStudy (michele_laino):

because the uncertainty is 6-5.23, and the best value is 5.23

OpenStudy (brucebaner):

witch is 12.83%

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so then the answer is d?

OpenStudy (michele_laino):

I think @brucebaner is right! and I'm wrong!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

its all right lol :D

OpenStudy (anonymous):

could you guys help a little more??

OpenStudy (michele_laino):

yes I think!

The table below shows the proportional relationship between the weight of cat food, in ounces, and the number of bags of cat food: Number of Bags of Cat Food Number of Ounces of Cat Food 4 64 5 80 6 96 What is the constant of proportionality? 4 7 16 32

OpenStudy (brucebaner):

thx

The table below shows the proportional relationship between the weight of cat food, in ounces, and the number of bags of cat food: Number of Bags of Cat Food Number of Ounces of Cat Food 4 64 5 80 6 96 What is the constant of proportionality? a: 4 b: 7 c: 16 d: 32

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ur welcome :3

OpenStudy (michele_laino):

I think that your relationship is linear, so y=mx, where m=16, because, after substitution, we have: 64=16*4, 80=16*5 96=16*6

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so then...

OpenStudy (michele_laino):

then c.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok, thx... do you think that @Michele_Laino is right @brucebaner

OpenStudy (brucebaner):

yes

OpenStudy (michele_laino):

thanks!!!!!@77777jeannie77777

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ur welcome @Michele_Laino

OpenStudy (michele_laino):

thanks again!!!!! @77777jeannie77777

If 4 over 7 of a ton of concrete covers 7 over 8 of a bridge, how many tons of concrete are required to cover the entire bridge? 17/56 ton 3/7 ton 1/2 ton 32/49 ton

OpenStudy (brucebaner):

my pleasure @77777jeannie77777

OpenStudy (anonymous):

:::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::DDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD

OpenStudy (anonymous):

do you guys know the answer??

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thx... michele?

OpenStudy (michele_laino):

If to build 7/8 of bridge are necessary 4/7 of concrete, the to build the entire bridege are necessary: \[\frac{ 8 }{ 7 }*\frac{ 4 }{ 7 }=\frac{ 32 }{ 49 }\] of concrete

OpenStudy (brucebaner):

its D

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok, thx u guys!!!!!!!!!!!!!

OpenStudy (michele_laino):

thank you!!!!! @77777jeannie77777

What does the point (1, 14) on the graph represent? The ratio of napkins to tables is 15:1. There are 14 napkins for every 1 table. The ratio of tables to napkins is 15:1. There are 14 tables for every 1 napkin.

OpenStudy (brucebaner):

i gtg bye

OpenStudy (anonymous):

bye

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OpenStudy (michele_laino):

that's right!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thx

Which unit rate is the lowest price per ounce? Choice A: 6 ounces of raisins for $2.98 Choice B: 13 ounces of raisins for $7.18 Choice A Choice B The unit rates are equal. The unit rates cannot be determined.

OpenStudy (michele_laino):

thanks!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

last one :D

OpenStudy (michele_laino):

I think A, pecause 2.98/6=0.496 and 7.18/13=0.55

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thx @Michele_Laino!!!!! ur the best lol

OpenStudy (michele_laino):

oops sorry...because....

OpenStudy (anonymous):

:D bye...

OpenStudy (anonymous):

oops what??

OpenStudy (michele_laino):

I have made a grammar error... not pecause, but because

OpenStudy (anonymous):

bye.. and its allright lol

OpenStudy (anonymous):

could u give me a medal pls??

OpenStudy (michele_laino):

I gave a medal to @brucebaner

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok.. @brucebaner could u give me 1?

OpenStudy (anonymous):
