Graph a triangle (LMN) and reflect it over the line y=x to create triangle L'M'N'. Part 1: Describe the transformation using words. (3 points) Part 2: Draw a line segment from point L to the reflecting line, and then draw a line segment from point L' to the reflecting line. What do you notice about the two line segments you drew? (2 points) Part 3: Do you think you would see the same characteristic if you drew the line segment connecting M with the reflecting line and then M' with the reflecting line? How do you know? (3 points)

OpenStudy (znappydooz):

This is what I got so far...

OpenStudy (znappydooz):

Part 1: The coordinates for LMN are: L = (1, 3) M = (1, 1) N = (4, 2) The points for the reflected triangle L'M'N' are: L' = (3, 1) M' = (1, 1) N' = (2, 4) Part 2: The lines are connecting and are straight because it was flipped at a 180* angle. Part 3:

OpenStudy (znappydooz):

@Isaiah.Feynman, can you help me for Part 2 and 3?

OpenStudy (isaiah.feynman):

Part 2 and 3, when part 1 is not done yet.

OpenStudy (znappydooz):

Is it wrong?

OpenStudy (znappydooz):

I thought i fixed it...

OpenStudy (isaiah.feynman):

I dunno. Tag some else for help. I'm unsure of this.

OpenStudy (znappydooz):

@Secret-Ninja, we need some help here please

OpenStudy (znappydooz):

@dtuniyants

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes. what's up?

OpenStudy (znappydooz):

Alright, so part 1, I believe is right... Part 2 and 3, I'm still confused :/
