Kathy jogged 6 1/2 miles on Saturday. She jogged 5 1/4 on sunday how further did she jogged on Saturday than Sunday

Alright, so to make this easier I'm turning the two numbers into decimals. Kathy jogged 6 1/2 miles on Saturday, so 1/2 equals 0.5, thus meaning she jogged 6.5 miles. Then on Sunday she jogged 5 1/4 miles, 1/4 is equal to 0.25, so she ran 5.25 miles on Sunday. Then all you have to do is subtract 5.25 miles from 6.5 miles, and then you will get the difference. It ends up being 1.25, so this means that Kathy jogged 1.25 more miles on Saturday compared to Sunday.

^^ or if you wanna turn it back into a fraction she ran 1 1/4 more miles on Saturday compared to Sunday
