How can you permanently delete a question? I accidentally posted a math question under History and I closed it, but that doesn't really delete it
Only mods can delete a question, but as long as you realized that you put it in the wrong section and closed it, you should be fine. We have all done it at one point.
Oh okay, thanks! :)

also... it really doesn't matter if u posted it in the wrong section just try to be careful next time and make sure its closed.
And if you still want it deleted, tag a mod or two with a sorry wrong section note and ask for it to be deleted. Something like: I posted this in the wrong section and closed it, but can you delete it? @perl @e.mccormick Then we will know and can clean it up so it will not show up in searches, etc.
I always had all of my questions deleted. The secret I used was to never ask them in the first place. Hehe.
You could also edit your question, like this : http://goo.gl/09FSQw : if nothing works above then just edit your question
Yes, editing it to,"Oops... wron section" would cause it to not show in most search results.
But then people in the future will think that you opened a spam question ^ ....
We could still get around to deleting it if needed, but at least it would not be some google hit to mistarget people.
yeah..
Nice latex @sleepyjess
Thanks @Ashleyisakitty
If you post in the wrong session, just close it. It's alright :)
Questions cannot be permanently deleted. We can only remove the link. The links remains viewable on the other side.
