The graph of a function passes through the points (4, -2) and (6, 8). What are the coordinates of these points after the function has been stretched horizontally by a factor of 2? Question 20 options: (2, -2) and (3, 8) (4, -4) and (6, 16) (8, -2) and (12, 16) (8, -2) and (12, 8)
@dtan5457
o crap
i need to fix one of my answers for you before.. this is not a dilation you only multiply the y coordinates (4, -4) and (6, 16)
was this difficult for u too ?
no i just haven't done it in a long time
i forget dilation is all all points, vertically shrink or shrunk a function is y coordinates only
it wasnt correct :(
wait this one or the last one with the (-1,1)?
this one
one of these answer choices must have (8, -4) then
its too late now its okay :) u are still awesome
what was the right answer?
they did not say but i have other questions though
are you sure your answer choices were correct? even if you do multiply both x and y coordinates one of the answers must of had (8, -4)
