\[\frac{ -5+i }{ 2i}\]
Multiply top and bottom by \(\Large i\) to rationalize the denominator
keep in mind that \[\Large i^2 = -1\]
Okay so I will have \[\frac{ -5+i }{ 2i} \times \frac{ i }{ i }\] \[\frac{ -5 - 1 }{ 2(-1) }?\]
@jim_thompson5910 is that right?
