Calculate cos theta to two decimal places

OpenStudy (jtvatsim):

Law of Cosines will be helpful here: |dw:1418698764573:dw| \[c^2 = a^2 + b^2 - 2ab \cos \theta\]

OpenStudy (jtvatsim):

All you need to do is plug in the appropriate values and solve for cos(theta). See what you get and we can check. :)

@jtvatsim Im stuck, I set it up, which is \[8^{2}=7^{2}+11^{2}-2\left( 7 \right)\left( 11 \right)\cos\] but i dont know what to do from there.
