q - 12 + 12 = -13 + 12
q = -13 + 12

Hmm? If your question looks like this : q - 12 \(\ge\) 13 :then all you gotta do is and 13 + 12 and that is you answer.
But if it looks like this
q - 12 \(\ge\) -13
Or this
q - 12 > -13
Then you add -13 + 12
