q-12> -13

sammixboo (sammixboo):

All you need to do is add 12 on both sides of the equation since you are subtracting in the original equation q - 12 + 12 = -13 + 12 q = -13 + 12

sammixboo (sammixboo):

What is -13 + 12?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

sorry I couldn't right symbol, I meant greater than or equal to

sammixboo (sammixboo):

So you have this : q - 12 \(\ge\) 13?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes

sammixboo (sammixboo):

OK same thing. Just add 12 to both sides of the equation q - 12 + 12\(\ge\) 13 + 12 q \(\ge\) 13 + 12

OpenStudy (anonymous):

srry to interupt but could yall help me with a few questions

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so basically q is greater than or equal to 1?

sammixboo (sammixboo):

Mmm, what is 13 + 12?

sammixboo (sammixboo):

And make sure to only post one question to post That means I can help ya as well

OpenStudy (anonymous):

but I meant -13

sammixboo (sammixboo):

Hmm? If your question looks like this : q - 12 \(\ge\) 13 :then all you gotta do is and 13 + 12 and that is you answer. But if it looks like this q - 12 \(\ge\) -13 Or this q - 12 > -13 Then you add -13 + 12
