One morning Ramkilawansingh (after this, we calling this man Ram) was making a study of the noticeboards along Westbourne Grove what does advertise rooms to let. After reading this sentence, the reader can most likely conclude that -Ram is unemployed and looking for a job. -the narrator is on friendly terms with Ram. -the narrator is not a native English speaker. -the story will take place in a congested city

I was thinking A because hes looking at the noticeboard?

Directrix (directrix):

Is this the sentence posted on the board: what does advertise rooms to let. It is not a sentence. It is a phrase. Would you look and see if you posted this correctly? Thanks.

>>After reading this sentence, What sentence?

@Directrix its more spaced now

Directrix (directrix):

Why are you thinking option A. I don't see anything about Ram's not having a job.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

oh thats true

Directrix (directrix):

This is not a sentence: " what does advertise rooms to let." I think something is off with the narrator of the story.

I haven't read the story but if this were a question I had to answer, I would go with the narrator is not a native English speaker. I can't say for sure that this is correct. @Alice2112
